We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team to support the Magnetic Resonance business in the sustaining, verification and continuous improvement of mechanical components & assemblies and engineering documentation, ensuring high quality, compliance and performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Create, modify and refine technical drawings and documentation for Gradient coils and tooling.
- Support of sustaining activities for Gradient coils within MR systems
- Manage and execute change requests in SAP, from analysis through implementation.
- Perform complaint handling and root cause / failure analysis.
- Implement design changes driven by regulatory requirements (e.g. RoHS compliance), component obsolescence, or general improvements.
- Apply agile development methods and collaborate closely with colleagues in the global Gradient Coil team to plan and deliver required tasks.
- Work in close cooperation with Product Owners and technical experts across functions.
- Ensure achievement of project targets related to schedule, cost, and quality within your area of responsibility.
- Be willing to travel on a short‑term business travel basis to international destinations (e.g. Germany and China).
Your Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor/ master's degree in Mechanical engineering or Mechatronics engineering atleast 6 years of experience in mechanical design and development projects.
- Strong technical background in Mechanics, Design of mechanical components, tolerance analysis and solid background and knowledge of common mechanical manufacturing processes and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid knowledge of document management using SAP.
- Experience working with CAD tools, Siemens NX (or similar) and Teamcenter.
- Structured, analytical working style, can do attitude, combined with strong teamwork and communication skills in an international environment.
