Mechanical Engineer

Kritsnam Technologies is looking for a mechanical engineer with strong design skills and good grasp of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering. He/She will play a crucial role in the development of new products as well as design of machinery in their production factory.

Qualification

1. BE/B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree
2. 1+ years of experience in a relevant roleÂ

Responsibilities

1. Design new engineering products and processes
2. Assessing product usability, functionality, durability and safety
3. Write detailed documentation and reports
4. Quickly craft models and drawings of products using CAD
5. Analyze prototype test data and make necessary improvements
6. Research new product ideas and methods
7. Improve existing products and processes
8. Ensure compliance with the industry’s standards like ISO
9. Ensure products are user- and environment-friendly
10. Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers
11. Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA compliant)
12. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies
13. Team player who can work with management, procurement and production teams

Requirements

1. Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or a similar roleÂ
2. Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering
3. Proven experience using CAD software and knowledge of 3D modeling
4. Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design
5. Good mathematical knowledge and skills to design solutions
6. Prior experience in any of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360, MATLAB, etc.
7. Ability to understand industry-specific regulations and standards
8. Good knowledge in materials and manufacturing
9. Knowledge in simulation, structural & flow analysis, PLM software is a plus
10. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
11. Great computational and spatial ability
12. Excellent oral and written communication
