Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise the timely execution of Mechanical works to ensure compliance with Working/Approved Drawings and applicable local Codes, Regulations, and Standards
• Inspect quality of materials and samples delivered to site and report any non-conformance to specifications
• Monitor contractor performance and progress against planned schedules, providing weekly progress reports
• Prepare and monitor rectification works, ensuring all defects are satisfactorily resolved
• Inspect on-site mock-ups as required to verify compliance
• Witness tests and ensure they follow approved method statements
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical services to ensure seamless integration
• Attend site, progress, variation, and coordination meetings to support project delivery
• Verify and maintain records of all site variations and contractor claims
• Assist Mechanical and Electrical Engineer in project execution tasks
• Ensure all installation work has proper approval from Employer and relevant authorities, maintaining accurate records

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in any Engineering or related field
