Role Description

GrowIT Technologies is looking for junior CAD Engineers to support a leading client in the industrial domain. This role focuses on converting 2D engineering drawings into accurate 3D models, supporting design and manufacturing workflows.

This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to work on real-world industrial projects and build expertise in high-demand engineering tools and domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert 2D drawings into detailed 3D models with high accuracy
• Ensure models align with engineering standards and client specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and annotations
• Maintain version control and proper documentation of models
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams for clarifications

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools (NX preferred; SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD acceptable)
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Ability to visualize and translate 2D concepts into 3D models
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to industrial equipment
• Basic understanding of plastics or material properties
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes
• Experience working on assemblies (optional)
