Role Description This full-time Mechanical Engineer role is based in Pune. The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems for exosuits, from concept through prototyping and validation. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and detailed drawings, performing design calculations, and supporting the integration of mechanical systems with electronics and control systems. The role involves contributing to research and development activities, testing and improving prototypes, documenting design processes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in project planning, timelines, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Machine Design for complex electromechanical systems.

• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, assembly design, and technical drawings.

• Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvement.

• Project Management skills to plan work, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and meet delivery timelines.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of materials selection, strength of materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to wearable devices.

• Ability to analyze mechanical performance using simulations or basic FEA tools is an advantage.

• Effective communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work in a start-up environment with evolving priorities.
