Position Name - Mechanical Engineer (Pipeline Inspection & QC)
Certification Engineers International Limited (CEIL), a Government of India undertaking and a wholly owned subsidiary of Engineers India Limited.
Location: Gujarat & Rajasthan (onshore pipeline project sites)
Experience: 6+ years (12+ years for diploma holders)
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
CTC: Up to 7.09 LPA (inclusive of HRA and pipeline duty allowance)
Joining: Immediate
Duration: 1 year, extendable
Key Responsibilities
Third-party inspection and quality control of mechanical activities on onshore cross-country oil & gas pipeline projects — from incoming material inspection through to final handover.
• Incoming Material Inspection Reports (IMIR) and material verification
• Welding, WPQT and welder/electrode qualification (EQT)
• RT film review, NDT witnessing and report clearance
• Stringing, trenching, lowering, holiday testing and field joint coating
• Back filling, cleaning & gauging, hydrotesting, swabbing and drying
• Station piping, pneumatic & hydro testing
• Pipe book review, as-built and final documentation, handover
What we're looking for
• 6+ years in inspection / QC of mechanical activities on oil & gas cross-country pipelines
• Background with an EPC contractor, PMC, third-party inspection agency or oil & gas owner
• Working knowledge of API 1104, ASME B31.4 / B31.8
• Willingness to work at remote right-of-way locations and travel along the pipeline route
