Job Description

Our client, a leading SME construction company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (ACMV) with a relevant degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a strong interest in the construction industry. You will be expected to perform site execution and material management for ACMV works for the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project in Tuas.

This position reports to the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager.

【Responsibilities】
- Oversee and manage site installation works for ACMV systems, including ducting, piping, and equipment
- Plan, prepare, and manage material requisitions in accordance with project specifications and schedule
- Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Supervise site activities and ensure works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings and method statements
- Liaise with the main contractor, consultants, and other trades for coordination and progress of works
- Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, and site productivity
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documentation
- Resolve site technical issues and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Assist in testing and commissioning of ACMV systems
- Prepare progress reports and support project documentation

Requirement

【Requirements & Preferences】

(Must)
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Inexperienced candidates with strong academic results are welcome to apply (Salary will be commensurate with experience)
- Willing to work in the Tuas area (transportation will be provided from a designated MRT station)
- Ability to work on weekends or outside business hours when required
- Able to join on short notice

(Advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, including ducting, chilled water systems, and ventilation systems
- Experience in material requisition, procurement coordination, and project planning
