Mechanical Developer

• Mechanical Design Engineering:
• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for low voltage electrical apparatus in alignment with project requirements and manufacturing constraints.
• CAD Expertise:
• Utilize design tools such as Pro-Engineer (Creo 2.0), AutoCAD 2D, and AutoCAD Revit for detailed modeling and drafting of components and layouts.
• Technical Documentation:
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive manufacturing and layout drawings, ensuring clarity and compliance with internal and customer standards.
• Engineering Standards:
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), fits and tolerances knowledge to ensure manufacturability and product performance.
• Manufacturing Support:
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide support and resolve design-related issues during production phases.
• Project Coordination:
• Contribute effectively as an individual contributor while coordinating with cross-functional teams locally and globally.
• Travel Readiness:
• Open to travel across India and internationally as project needs dictate.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design of sheet metal components.
• Familiarity with low voltage electrical apparatus and related mechanical design aspects.
• Proficiency in Creo 2.0, AutoCAD 2D, and optionally Revit.
• Solid understanding of GD&T, fits, and tolerances.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
