Mechanical Designer for Thermal Systems (Engine Cooling Fan)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Conceptualization : Developing the conceptualization and realizing the same by detailing and creating the same by generating 3D models and drawings using NX tool as per PS-TS standardDesign Review: Implement and follow the BES-PE principles in development and able to get participate in design reviews and provide input to enhance the design and engineering process.Collaborative Work: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and manufacturing, to gather and implement design feedback and improvements.Teamcenter Experience: Utilize Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software to manage and organize CAD data, ensuring data integrity, version control, and efficient collaboration among team members.Data Management: Maintain a well-structured data management system within Teamcenter, including file naming conventions, organization of CAD data, and creating and managing Bill of Materials (BOM).Quality Control: Ensure that CAD models and drawings are error-free, meet quality standards, and comply with company policies and best practices.Required SkillsExperience in Hydraulic design & in Plastic designGood exposure to joining / assembly methods with good knowledge in GD&TProven experience with Unigraphics (Siemens NX) for 3D modeling and parametric design.Experience with SAP for data management.Strong proficiency in Teamcenter PLM software.Proficient in creating engineering drawings and documentation.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
