Job Title: Mechanical Design (Utility Infrastructure Projects)

Job Location: Gujarat / Kharkhoda / Manesar / Gurgaon

Required Experience: 2 - 6 Years

Required Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Full Time & Regular)

Job Responsibilities:

.Plan, execute and monitor utility, infrastructure and facility projects for EMU manufacturing facilities.

.Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs and vendor documents for mechanical utilities.

.Manage installation, testing and commissioning of Fire Hydrant Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps and Fire Water Networks.

.Execute HVAC, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Air Washer projects for production shops, warehouses and utility buildings.

.Ensure operation, maintenance and performance monitoring of HVAC and utility systems.

.Manage Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) installations and operations.

.Prepare project schedules, monitor progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets.

.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, OEMs and cross-functional teams for project execution.

.Implement preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance strategies for utility equipment.

.Monitor utility consumption and implement energy conservation initiatives.

.Ensure statutory compliance related to fire safety, environmental regulations and factory requirements.

.Conduct technical evaluation of equipment, vendor offers and contractor submissions.

.Prepare technical reports, maintenance plans, SOPs and project documentation.

.Support production teams by ensuring uninterrupted utility availability.

.Participate in safety audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

.Maintain records of utility assets, maintenance history and statutory inspections.

.HVAC Systems, Chillers, AHUs and Ventilation Systems

.Air Washer System Design and Maintenance

.Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Operations

.Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Operations

.Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operations

.Pumping Systems and Utility Piping Networks

.Mechanical Project Management

.Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

.AutoCAD and Engineering Drawing Interpretation

.Vendor and Contractor Management

.Budgeting, Planning and Cost Control

.Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Engineering

.Knowledge of NFPA, NBC and IS Standards

Must have Skill:

.Fire Hydrant & Fire Sprinkler System Design, Execution and Maintenance

.WTP, STP and ETP Operation & Maintenance

.Mechanical Project Planning, Execution and Commissioning

Other Considerations:

.Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield industrial projects will be an added advantage.

.Experience in railway rolling stock, metro depot, automobile manufacturing or large industrial facilities is preferred.

.Candidate should possess strong project execution, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

.Knowledge of energy-efficient utility systems and sustainability initiatives is desirable.

.Hands-on experience in commissioning and operation of utility systems is mandatory.

.Strong focus on safety, quality and statutory compliance is essential.
