Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical components related to the aerospace industry. The role requires strong CAD and CAE Skills with good understanding in GD&T, Engineering Drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D Models and 2D Drawings for Aerospace parts.
• Perform basic structural analysis for mechanical systems like structures.
• Generate detailed BOM, ECR and ECN etc. documents for the Mechanical Systems.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to resolve Design, Integration and inspection related issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve any manufacturing related issues.
• Perform tolerance analysis, material selection and manufacturing checks.
• Good Knowledge in GD&T and Data management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B-Tech in Mechanical / Aerospace (or related).

Required Skills

• Proficiency/Experience in CAD Tool usage (like Creo, SolidWorks and AutoCAD) for Design and Drafting.

Preferred Skills

• Ansys Workbench or Hypermesh will be preferred for analysis.
