Position: Mechanical Design Engineer – Pune (CE56SF RM 4181)
Looking for Mechanical Design Engineer who has experience in Plastic, Creo & electromechanical. Should be open for F2F interview
Shift timing : 9 to 6 pm
Work Mode : Hybrid
Relevant Experience required : 5 to 6 years of experience in electromechanical & NPD
Education Required : Bachelor's in mechanical engineering

Creo, Engineering fundamental, Sheet metal knowledge, Plastic knowledge, Electromechanical domain, Prototype manufacturing (3D printing, VC, CNC & tooling), NPD, Structural and Thermal Simulation
Good To Have Skills
Windchill, Solidworks, Excellent verbal & communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities for new product development from concept to production.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using Creo.
- Develop electromechanical products considering functionality, manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
- Design and integrate plastic, sheet metal, casting, and machined components.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and engineering evaluations.
- Support basic simulation activities such as structural, thermal, and vibration analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, firmware, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality.
- Conduct design reviews, prototype evaluations, and validation testing.
- Resolve design issues during prototyping, testing, and production stages.
- Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and release packages.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and assembly design.
- Good understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes.
- Knowledge of plastic part design, injection molding, DFM/DFA principles.
- Experience in sheet metal and casting component design.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Basic knowledge of simulation tools (structural, thermal, and flow analysis).
- Experience in electromechanical product development and enclosure design.
- Familiarity with prototype development and product validation activities.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
