Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in SolidWorks to support the design and development of precision automation machines and special-purpose equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Design precision mechanical components, assemblies, and machine modules using SolidWorks.
· Develop 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
· Design precision motion systems, machine frames, sheet metal parts, fabricated structures, and machined components.
· Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
· Select standard mechanical components such as linear guides, ball screws, bearings, couplings, motors, and pneumatic components.
· Perform GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
· Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
· Support prototype development, machine assembly, testing, and product validation.
· Coordinate with electrical, controls, software, manufacturing, and production teams.
· Participate in design reviews, engineering changes, and continuous product improvements.
