Role Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. In this full-time, on-site role based in Mysore, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and refining mechanical designs and systems. You will play a pivotal role in creating 3D models and technical drawings, designing mechanical components, conducting design analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the functionality, efficiency, and safety of designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, conceptualize, and refine mechanical designs and systems
- Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software
- Design mechanical components and products tailored for real-world applications
- Conduct design analysis to ensure the systems meet functional and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and efficiency requirements
- Manage project timelines and contribute to efficient project execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in Mechanical Engineering concepts, including materials, thermodynamics, and manufacturing processes
- Expertise in Mechanical Design and Product Design for mechanical components and systems
- Hands-on experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS, or similar tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
