Job Description

  • Lead the mechanical design and development of electrooptical and electromechanical systems.
  • Create and review 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, GA layouts, and assembly documentation.
  • Design precision housings, mounts, and enclosures for optical and electronic components.
  • Develop thermal management solutions and ensure environmental sealing (IP/MIL standards).
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (optics, electronics, manufacturing, SCM, vendors).
  • Prepare work instructions, BOMs, and PLM documentation.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and validation in thermal chambers and environmental labs.
  • Ensure compliance with military/defense standards for durability, reliability, and safety
  • Preferred If
    • Experience in electrooptical assemblies (lenses, sensors, housings).
    • Knowledge of materials for military applications (aluminum alloys, composites, sealing gaskets).
    • Ability to work under tight schedules and deliver in fasttrack development environments.
    • Strong team spirit and leadership qualities.
