Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description:

• Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and validation of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies used in complex engineering products. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, manufacturability, and customer requirements.
• semi domain experience: including areas such as vacuum systems, Gas box and exhaust systems, among others.
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools (Creo/SolidWorks)
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drawing standards
• Experience in mechanical assemblies, sheet metal, machining, or precision components
• Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances
• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities
• Handle engineering change management (ECR/ECO)
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
