Mechanical Design Engineer for LV/MV Panel Switchgear Panel (Sheet Metal Work Mainly)

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear Panels with a focus on sheet metal work. The engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, creating CAD models, developing product designs, and managing machine design projects. The role is located at our Kolkata office, providing opportunities for collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and deliver tailored solutions efficiently.

• Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design
• Strong skills in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and techniques
• Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• In-depth understanding of sheet metal design principles and LV/MV switchgear systems
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in the electrical or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
