Role Description As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Axio Electronics, you will work on the mechanical design of medical, wearable, and consumer hardware products, ensuring they are robust, manufacturable, and aligned with engineering and regulatory requirements. You will create and refine 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD tools, develop mechanisms and enclosures, and collaborate closely with electronics, firmware, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical and electronic components. Daily responsibilities include concept development, mechanical simulations or feasibility assessments, design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA), and supporting prototype builds and testing. You will participate in design reviews, prepare engineering documentation, and address feedback from internal stakeholders, suppliers, and clients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
• Proficiency in Product Design, including enclosure design, mechanism development, and design for manufacturability and assembly.
• Hands-on expertise with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar) for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (electronics, firmware, manufacturing) and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Experience with prototyping, tolerance analysis, material selection for plastics and metals, and basic understanding of production processes (e.g., injection molding, machining, sheet metal).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with industry standards and reliability considerations for consumer or medical devices is an advantage.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in Jaipur in a fast-paced, hardware-focused environment.
