Design Engineer – Autodesk Inventor

Experience: 3–5 Years

Industry: Heavy Engineering / Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
• Work on sheet metal design, fabrication, and mechanical components.
• Understand GD&T, tolerances, BOM, and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor.
• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal Design and Fabrication.
• Experience in Heavy Engineering / Heavy Industries / Manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, BOM, and DFM.
• Good understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.

Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
