Job Summary

We are seeking a Design Engineer with strong AutoCAD expertise to support product design, engineering documentation, and new product development activities. The ideal candidate should possess a sound understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and technical documentation while working closely with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain AutoCAD drawings, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

• Create and update Bill of Materials (BOMs), product datasheets, and related engineering records.

• Prepare technical proposals and support quotation activities as per customer requirements.

• Perform engineering-related entries and documentation in the ERP system.

• Participate in new product development, sample creation, and prototype activities.

• Assist in the development of tools, fixtures, and machining-related projects.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.

• Work with customers and internal teams to resolve technical queries and product-related issues.

• Ensure engineering documents comply with company standards and customer specifications.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

• Good understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and drafting standards.

• Knowledge of BOM preparation and technical documentation.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machining, tools, and fixtures.

• Understanding of both Metric and Imperial measurement systems.

• Experience working with ERP systems.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

• 2–4 years of experience in Design Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, Product Engineering, or related functions.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering tasks simultaneously.

• Exposure to industrial products, manufacturing, or engineering-based organizations will be preferred.
