Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Ahmedabad. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed design engineering solutions, creating equipment data sheets, piping designs, vendor evaluation, site interfaces, etc. Daily tasks will include utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs meet specifications and project requirements. The engineer will also play a role in identifying and implementing new technologies to optimize performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Engineering
• Strong expertise in mechanical equipment design, selection and evaluation
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
• Proactive problem-solving approach and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with industrial water and wastewater treatment processes is a plus
• Willingness to be based in Ahmedabad and work on-site when needed
