Job Responsibilities:
The role of the mCAD Designer is:
- Function as a designer for product file tasks (ECR/ECO)
- Prepares medium complexity mechanical drawings using the CAD system (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Responsible for the accuracy of his/her own work in terms of quality and timely delivery with minimum supervision.
- Possesses a good understanding of Schlumberger/Industry recognized drafting methods, standards and procedures and apply them in day-to-day activities.
- Possesses a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques, and interpretation of Schlumberger/Industry recognized standards and procedures and apply in day to day activities and also recommend additional changes to improve the product file quality file.
- Possesses a basic understanding of mechanical engineering terms methodologies.
- Maintain accurate status reports for all assigned activities
- Possesses a basic knowledge of segment product line by maintaining striving to grow the necessary level expertise for self through training development as appropriate for execution project.
- Successfully complete required Quality Health Safety Environment trainings.
Academic Qualifications: Diploma in relevant subject (Mechanical manufacturing specifically drafting) r.elevant professional experience
Experience: 2-5 years work experience in a similar position.
