Should have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in both System Engineering and Bought-Out Engineering and Detail Engineering experience from Balance of Plant (BOP) systems Projects of Thermal Power Plant, Combined Cycle and Supercritical Power plants.
Should Have experience in understanding of each BOP systems and also hands on experience in these deliverables Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), System Design Documents – Sizing Calculation, Technical/Order Specifications (Level 1 & Level 2), Technical Tender Analysis (TTA) including Order request for Procurement.
Should Have experience in following BOP Systems design and its associated equipment packages and Sub-Contract packages.
Plant Water Systems - Raw Water, DM Water, Main Cooling Water, Closed Cooling Water and water treatment
Compressed air System
Fuel gas system
Equipment Post order drawings / documents Review & Approvals and Transmitting to Client
Site Coordination.
Should have experience in Plant layout drawings reviews such as General Arrangement Drawing, Technical Specification, Data Sheet & Technical Bid Evaluation, Creating Bill of Material (BOM) for new Arrangement drawings, Commissioning spare parts list
Interface details with other Disciplines [Civil, Electrical &Instrumentation]
Should have experience in preparation of Ordering Specification/Modification Kit/Field Modification Instruction manual - FMI.
Should have demonstrated ownership & decision-making of the design, considering cost, feasibility in manufacturing and fabrication.
Should have served as primary interface with customers and have demonstrated the implementation of design requirements, design changes, analysis, and verification of each task.
Should have excellent Coordination skills with all Cross-Functional Teams such as Vendor Management & Procurement Support, Process Team, Electrical Team etc.
Engineer should have confidence with autonomy to deliver as work package is critical
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
