Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical BIM Modeler with 2+ years experience to develop, coordinate, and deliver accurate mechanical BIM models for major international projects, ensuring compliance with global standards and seamless team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) up to LOD 400/500 in Revit MEP.
- Perform BIM clash detection, issue tracking, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated design solutions.
- Review project documents, raise and monitor RFIs, and ensure model integrity and timely updates.
- Generate accurate quantity take-offs, schedules, and construction/shop drawings from BIM models.
- Guide and mentor junior modelers, ensuring quality outputs and adherence to BIM standards.
- Support cloud-based model sharing, issue tracking, and model version management BIM360/ACC.
- Prepare Revit families, manage templates, and contribute to BIM process improvements and standardization.
Technical / Must-Have Skills
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for mechanical BIM modeling.
- Hands-on experience with BIM clash coordination and federated model management.
- Knowledge of MEP systems, international codes (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NFPA, IPC), and BIM documentation standards.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
- Experience with BIM 360/ACC and familiarity with automation (Dynamo scripting) is a plus.
