Role Summary
As a Mechanical / Automobile Engineer at Mechapixel, you will contribute to the design, integration, and optimization of vehicle systems and related assemblies. Your role will combine SolidWorks-driven product design, engineering workflows (EBOMMBOMPLM), and vehicle dynamics knowledge to deliver robust, manufacturable, and high-performance designs.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our designs meet engineering standards, process excellence goals, and sustainability objectives.
Must-Have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
- 45 years of relevant industry experience in vehicle/automotive engineering.
- SolidWorks expertise: advanced proficiency in parts, assemblies, surfacing, sheet metal, weldments, routing, and drawing standards.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle integration across subsystems.
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals with ability to apply first-principles calculations for validation.
- Strong communication skills for technical writing, collaboration, and participation in reviews.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with PLM systems and SolidWorks PDM for workflow and version control.
- Experience with EBOMMBOM conversions and workflow optimization.
- Basic knowledge of suspension, steering, and handling fundamentals with exposure to simulation.
- Understanding of Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- Experience collaborating closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Required certificates - PLM, GD&T, 3D experience.
