Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

System & Component Analysis:

  • Engine System Design: Apply mechanical engineering principles, specifically in Mechanics of Solids, Vibrations, Rotor Dynamics, and Machine Design to support the design and analysis of engine systems and components.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Use advanced FEA tools such as Nastran, MATLAB, and Hypermesh for performing system dynamics and vibration analyses to assess and optimize engine components.
  • Vibration Analysis: Perform linear and non-linear vibration analyses to ensure the reliability and performance of engine systems under various operating conditions.

Design Improvements & Execution:

  • Independent Work: Take ownership of design tasks and execute them with minimal supervision, ensuring flawless execution and continuous design improvements.
  • Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and clients, to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer focus, contributing to the development of intellectual property (IP) and providing innovative design solutions.
  • Presentation & Communication: Communicate technical information clearly and confidently, preparing and delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong Fundamentals in Mechanics of Solids, Vibrations, Rotor Dynamics, Machine Design, and Finite Element Analysis.
  • Proficiency in Nastran, MATLAB, Hypermesh for system dynamics, vibration, and FEA analyses.
  • Experience in system dynamics and linear & non-linear vibration analyses.
  • Ability to work independently, ensuring flawless execution and driving design improvements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information.
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills for effective team collaboration.
