Job Description

Role Summary

The Measurement & Attribution Lead will own and drive the end-to-end Measurement & Insights Practice (Measurement Pod) across Analytics and data platforms for EXL Services enterprise clients. This role is accountable for strategy, delivery, consulting, and technical advisory, helping enterprise clients establish a unified measurement framework and actionable customer intelligence.

The individual will act as a trusted partner to business and technology stakeholders, translating business objectives into scalable measurement, attribution, and optimization solutions using various analytics and CDP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Measurement Practice & Delivery Ownership

  • Own and lead the Measurement & Attribution Pod (analytics engineers, data architects, and consultants).
  • Accountable for end-to-end delivery of analytics, attribution, and insights initiatives.
  • Define operating model, governance, and best practices for measurement solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and performance across platforms.
  • Manage prioritization, resourcing, risks, and dependencies across analytics programs.

2. Consulting & Advisory Leadership

  • Act as Measurement & Insights Advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery workshops for KPI definition, measurement strategy, and attribution models.
  • Provide strategic guidance on:
  • Enterprise measurement frameworks
  • Omnichannel attribution and incrementality
  • Customer journey analytics (B2C & B2B)
  • Product analytics and experimentation
  • Marketing mix modeling and ROI measurement
  • Translate business strategies into analytics and data platform roadmaps.

3. Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Partner with Marketing, Digital, Product, Data, and IT stakeholders.
  • Serve as primary point of accountability for analytics and attribution initiatives.
  • Influence decision-making at senior and executive levels.
  • Build long-term advisory relationships with customers.
  • Drive adoption and expansion of measurement capabilities across accounts.

4. Growth & Measurement Footprint Expansion

  • Identify opportunities to expand the measurement and attribution footprint across business units and channels.
  • Drive cross-sell and up-sell of Analytics and CDP products.
  • Build reusable frameworks, data models, and accelerators for insights delivery.
  • Support pre-sales, proposals, and RFPs with analytics and attribution strategies.
  • Sponsor innovation using advanced attribution, AI/ML-driven insights, and optimization tools.

5. Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Define and govern solution architecture across Analytics solutions such as Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics(AEP), Content Analytics, Mix Modeler, Product Analytics, Real-Time CDP (B2C & B2B) or other Analytics solutions
  • Ensure best practices in:
  • Data ingestion and identity resolution
  • Event modeling and XDM schemas
  • Attribution and journey stitching
  • KPI frameworks and reporting design
  • Data governance, privacy, and compliance

6. Integration & Ecosystem Enablement

  • Integrate analytics and CDP platforms with:
  • Marketing platforms(such as AJO, Adobe Campaign, SFMC, Braze, Marketo,etc).
  • Personalization platforms
  • Content & Commerce platforms
  • CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
  • Data warehouses and BI tools
  • Enable personalization, experimentation, and closed-loop measurement.

Required Skills & Experience

Professional Experience

  • 8–12+ years of experience in digital web analytics, data platforms, and attribution solutions.
  • Strong hands-on or solution leadership experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, analytics and CDP products.
  • Proven experience leading analytics delivery teams or pods.
  • Experience in client-facing consulting and solution architecture roles.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Deep expertise in:
  • Analytics and Meassurement Platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tealium, CJA(AEP), etc.
  • CDP Platforms such as AEP RTCDP, Amperity, Hightouch, Salesforce Data cloud, etc.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Attribution models and incrementality testing
  • Marketing mix modeling (Mix Modeler)
  • Product analytics and experimentation
  • Data pipelines, event streaming, and identity stitching and resolution
  • Privacy, consent, and data governance

Leadership & Consulting Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution rigor.
  • Ability to link analytics insights to business outcomes and ROI.
  • Experience mentoring analytics engineers and consultants.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Experts
  • Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven analytics and Mix Modeler.
  • Prior experience in pre-sales or solution consulting roles.
  • Domain experience in retail, Sports and Media, and/or B2B industries (preferred).
