MDM Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Lead to enhance and mature enterprise-wide master data processes. The MDM Lead will drive the design and implementation of a Global Master Data Model for Product MDM and Product Information Management (PIM). This role will lead the consolidation of region-specific product data models into a single unified global template, ensuring consistent definitions, governance, workflows, and integrations across global markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Strong understanding of MDM and PIM domain modeling.

- Manage Master data lifecycle processes including CRUD operations.

- Understand data structures, interfaces and data flow from source systems to downstream applications.

- Design MDM/PIM (B2B, B2C) Data Models, Harmonize multiple regional models into a unified, scalable Global Data Model, Define taxonomy, hierarchies, inheritance, templates, and attribute definitions, Establish localization and market-specific extension principles.

- Strong knowledge in Match and Merge rule design, Data cleansing, Data Profiling, Entity, Hierarchy, Relationship design, Data validation rules design, Survivorship rules design, Golden record design, Data Quality rules design.

- Define governance framework, business rules, DQ metrics, and data stewardship processes, Implement rules for completeness, accuracy, consistency, validity, uniqueness, and timeliness.

- Experience in working with REST APIs, JSON, XML for Master data exchange.

- Work with integration architects to define inbound/outbound mapping and canonical models.

- Conduct requirement workshops with cross-functional global stakeholders, Lead creation of solution design documents, attribute dictionaries, lineage definitions, etc.

- Identify Data Quality issues, Document root causes and implement action plans for remediation.

MustHave Skills

• Strong experience in MDM/PIM architecture, data modeling, end-to-end MDM implementations
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts.
• Hands on experience in MDM platform such as Stibo or Informatica.
• Strong experience with Master Data Management in multi-region/global setups and in MDM data migration.
• Strong experience in SAAS platform
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management

Good to have skills:

• Experience with STIBO STEP MDM/PIM (entity modeling, workflows, rules, templates).
• Understanding of Mulesoft integration flows and API-based data movement.
• Exposure to PLM, ERP, DAM integrations
• Exposure to cloud platforms AWS, GCP, Azure.
