Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced MDM Engineer with strong expertise in Mobile Device Management solutions, specifically Ivanti Neurons for MDM (formerly MobileIron), to manage, secure, and support enterprise mobile environments.
The ideal candidate will ensure seamless device management, compliance, and security across corporate mobile assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage MDM platforms, primarily MobileIron / Ivanti Neurons for MDM
- Configure and deploy mobile device policies, profiles, and security settings
- Manage device lifecycle (enrollment, provisioning, compliance, retirement)
- Troubleshoot MDM-related issues across iOS, Android, and Windows devices
- Integrate MDM with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure AD
- Implement and enforce security controls including VPN, certificates, and conditional access
- Support BYOD and corporate-owned device strategies
- Monitor device compliance and generate reports for audits and governance
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure data protection
Required Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Mobile Device Management
Hands-on experience with Ivanti Neurons for MDM (formerly MobileIron)
Strong knowledge of iOS, Android, and Windows mobile platforms
Experience In
Mobile application management (MAM)
Mobile content management (MCM)
Certificate-based authentication
Familiarity With
Microsoft Intune
Azure Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange
Understanding of enterprise security standards and compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in other MDM tools (e.g., VMware Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro)
Knowledge of Zero Trust security models
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)
Relevant certifications in MobileIron/Ivanti or mobility management
Soft Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
