About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Data Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade Master Data Management (MDM) and AI-readiness frameworks using Reltio, Informatica, and MCP-based integration patterns. This role involves leading the architecture of modern MDM programs that unify business data, enrich metadata context, and enable real-time, agentic intelligence across cloud and on-premises systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of multi-domain MDM and metadata architectures using Reltio and Informatica as the foundation.
- Define how MCP-based data contracts and semantic layers connect master data, metadata, and AI agents.
- Architect data governance and lineage frameworks that make enterprise data AI-ready and context-aware.
- Establish blueprints for data mastering, identity resolution, survivorship, and context propagation across systems.
- Drive the delivery of complex MDM modernization projects with distributed teams.
- Translate business challenges into scalable, governed data architectures.
- Oversee implementation quality, design reviews, and metadata alignment across programs.
- Mentor data engineers and consultants on modern data architecture principles and MDM best practices.
- Partner with product owners, data governance, and AI teams to ensure architecture aligns with business data strategy.
- Evangelize the use of Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect structured and unstructured data through metadata-driven APIs.
- Contribute to internal frameworks and accelerators that unify governance, observability, and AI orchestration layers.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in Data Architecture, including 4+ years in MDM design and delivery.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data governance, and metadata-driven architectures.
- Strong experience in Informatica IDMC and Reltio MDM solution design (or equivalent enterprise MDM platforms).
- Proven track record in delivering complex, multi-domain data programs with business-critical outcomes.
- Familiarity with contextual integration patterns or agentic AI architectures is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to data fabric, MCP-based integration, or AI-readiness frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead architecture workshops, solution reviews, and enterprise governance sessions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interface with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working across business, IT, and AI strategy teams in a matrixed organization.
- Experience mentoring and scaling architecture and data engineering teams.
Benefits
- Remote/hybrid work model (based in India).
- Opportunity to shape next-generation AI-ready data architecture at the intersection of MDM, metadata, and contextual intelligence.
- Involvement in global programs integrating Informatica, Reltio, and MCP-driven orchestration frameworks.
- Potential for long-term growth and impact in building governed, autonomous data ecosystems.
