MD Microbiologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Leadership: Supervise laboratory operations (bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology) to identify microorganisms.

• Clinical Consultation: Interpret laboratory results and advise clinicians on infectious disease diagnosis and treatment plans.

• Infection Control: Develop and implement infection control protocols (ICU/OT) and prevent healthcare-associated infections.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with lab safety standards (NABH/NABL/ISO) and ensure strict QA/QC monitoring.

• Lab Management: Manage laboratory staff, validate new diagnostic methodologies, and manage equipment calibration.

Qualifications:

• MBBS with MD in Microbiology.
• Valid Medical License (NMC/State Medical Council registration).
• Proven experience as a Consultant or Microbiologist in a clinical setting.
