About The Opportunity
Opportunity in the Diagnostic Imaging sector within healthcare — an outpatient imaging centre delivering advanced nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging services across oncology, cardiology and endocrinology. We provide PET/CT, SPECT/CT and radionuclide therapy services to referring clinicians and patients across India.
Position: Nuclear Medicine Consultant (MD/DNB) — On-site, India
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform and report diagnostic nuclear medicine studies including PET/CT and SPECT/CT (oncology, cardiac, thyroid, renal and bone imaging) with timely, clinically actionable reports.
- Plan, prescribe, and administer radionuclide therapies and therapeutic protocols (including I-131 and other theranostics where applicable) with appropriate patient selection and follow-up.
- Ensure strict radiation safety and regulatory compliance: supervise radiopharmaceutical handling, storage, transport, waste management and documentation per AERB/Government norms.
- Lead and mentor imaging technologists and support staff: define acquisition protocols, quality control procedures and daily equipment checks to maintain diagnostic quality.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to discuss cases, refine diagnostic strategies and support clinical decision-making.
- Drive continuous quality improvement through protocol optimisation, participation in audits, and implementation of standard operating procedures.

Must-Have (Qualifications)
- MD or DNB in Nuclear Medicine (or recognized equivalent)
- Valid medical registration permitting practice in India
- Proven experience in interpreting PET/CT and SPECT/CT studies and delivering radionuclide therapies
- Working knowledge of national radiation safety regulations and compliance processes
- Strong clinical reporting skills and ability to participate in multidisciplinary discussions
Preferred (Qualifications)
- Experience with theranostics and peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT)
- Prior exposure to QA/QC of nuclear medicine equipment and protocol optimisation
- Fellowship or additional training in hybrid imaging or oncologic imaging
