Role Description The MCA Compliance and Incorporation Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The role involves managing end-to-end processes related to company incorporation, including drafting and filing necessary documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely approvals through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) portal. The manager will oversee ongoing MCA compliances such as annual filings, event-based filings, maintenance of statutory registers, and monitoring deadlines to avoid penalties. Daily responsibilities include reviewing legal and regulatory updates, advising clients on compliance requirements, preparing reports and documentation, and working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient execution of assignments. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining organized records, improving compliance workflows, and supporting audits or inspections as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of MCA regulations, Companies Act, and corporate compliance procedures, including incorporation and annual filings.
  • Experience with preparation, review, and electronic filing of forms and documents on the MCA portal, and familiarity with related statutory registers and records.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory updates, draft clear compliance notes, and communicate requirements effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software) and maintaining organized digital and physical documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to resolving compliance issues and responding to regulatory queries.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
  • Relevant educational background in law, commerce, finance, or company secretarial practice; qualification as a Company Secretary or similar professional credential is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a corporate compliance, company secretarial, or legal support role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
