Job Description

Job Requirements

At Quest Global, it's not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different. With over 25 years as an engineering services provider, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible. Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place—to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future. We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MBSE Lead Engineer to drive the digital transformation of our systems engineering processes. The successful candidate will lead the adoption of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across aerospace projects, transitioning teams from traditional document-based approaches to a fully integrated, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead MBSE Adoption: Spearhead the transition from paper based to model based processes, developing and customising System Modelling and Design processes, methods, and best practices.

SysML Modelling: Develop, maintain, and manage high-level system models (Requirements, Behaviour, Structure, Parameters, and Test Cases) in SysML V1 / or V2 to define system architectures.

Enable Digital Thread: Specify and implement data exchange and integration strategies between disparate engineering tools; including PLM, Requirement Management tools (such as DOORS), SysML (Magic/EA/Rhapsody), CAD, Analysis tools and other engineering applications; to ensure a seamless authoritative source of truth.

Requirements Management: Ensure requirements are properly reviewed and governed. Capture requirements traceability, ensuring end-to-end alignment from stakeholder needs to design artifacts and test cases.

Model Based Verification: Define and integrate test cases into the system model to automate verification, validating requirements within the SysML environment.

Cross functional Leadership: Lead technical reviews and interface with mechanical, industrial, and software teams to ensure compliance with relevant aerospace standards and customer processes.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to engineers on SysML language, tool integration workflows, and MBSE methodology.

We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day. Questians are driven by hunger, humility, and aspiration. We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach. Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work, ensuring that all voices are heard.

We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect, where everyone belongs, is valued, and feels inspired to share their ideas. We know embracing our unique differences makes us better, and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds. We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21,000 difference-makers in our workplace.

Work Experience

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or equivalent Engineering.

Experience: 4–8 years in systems engineering, with a focus on MBSE in the aerospace or similar high-tech industry.

SysML Expertise: Hands-on experience creating system architecture models using SysML V1 ( or SysML V2) tools. Proven capability in one or more SysML tools such asCATIA Magic (Cameo), Sparx EA, or IBM Rhapsody.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification: INCOSE ASEP (Associate Systems Engineering Professional) or higher.

Interoperability: Familiarity with data exchange standards (OSLC, FMI/FMU, Step AP242) used to link SysML with CAD or PLM environments.

Simulation: Ability to create system simulations on CATIA Magic or MATLAB/Simulink for behaviour as wellas analytical simulations.

Skills And Competencies

Strong understanding of the Digital Thread and PLM MBSE integration.

Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives across multi disciplinary teams.
