Job Title: MBD EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated MBD Engineer with expertise in automotive software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Model-Based Development (MBD) for embedded software and be proficient in various programming and scripting languages.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and development using MBD methods and tools in a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
- Develop and automate processes using M-scripting, creating graphical user interfaces and applications.
- Engage in control model development and ensure software meets quality standards through model quality evaluation and process implementation.
- Drive improvements in practices and processes, demonstrating a solid understanding of automotive systems and features.
- Utilize Application Lifecycle Management tools effectively.
- Perform Simulink verification and validation.
- Develop custom tooling within MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder environments.
- Familiarize with and implement AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, and specifications.
- Manage version control using GIT and Jira.
- Engage in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) ECU development processes.
- Build automotive MIL ECU control models using Simulink and Stateflow.
- Execute testing using SL test Suite and MUT TestProcedure.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience in Model-Based Development for embedded software development.
- Proficiency in M-scripting, automation, GUI, and application development.
- Solid programming skills in C.
- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing MA check and MAAB guidelines.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder.
- Experience with version control using GIT and Jira.
- Exposure to SIL and MIL ECU development processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Model-Based Development in automotive software applications.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive) concepts.
- Experience with Reactis and BTC tools.
- Track record of driving improvements in software development processes.
