We provide 24/7 acute-care coverage and evidence-based clinical services across urban and semi-urban centres in India.
We are hiring an on-site MBBS Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join a high-performing clinical team in a multi-speciality hospital setting. This role is patient-facing and requires strong clinical judgement, procedural competence and reliable shift-based coverage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 on-site clinical coverage for wards, observation units and emergency triage; assess, stabilise and escalate acute patients.
- Perform admission workups: history taking, focused physical exams, order and interpret routine investigations and initiate evidence-based treatment plans.
- Execute common emergency procedures including airway management, basic resuscitation, IV cannulation, wound suturing and safe medication administration as per hospital protocols.
- Coordinate referrals and handovers with consultants and specialty teams; assist during procedures and perioperative care when required.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records, prepare discharge summaries and death documentation, and ensure compliance with clinical governance and infection-control protocols.
- Participate in shift rostering, clinical audits, morbidity review meetings and continuous quality-improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- MBBS degree with valid medical registration in India.
- Completion of internship and prior hospital clinical experience with exposure to emergency or ward duties.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
- Competence in emergency procedures: IV cannulation, airway support and basic resuscitation.
- Proficient clinical documentation and prescription writing skills; familiarity with standard treatment guidelines.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and provide dependable on-site coverage.
Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience in a multi-speciality hospital or high-volume emergency department.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and hospital workflows.
