About The Opportunity
Healthcare Primary Care & Outpatient Services focused on community clinic and home-visit care in Koramangala, Bangalore. We provide accessible, patient-centered consultations and basic medical interventions to urban families and working professionals.
Primary role (standardized title): Visiting MBBS Physician (On-site). Location: Koramangala, Bangalore. Workplace: On-site visiting doctor role with clinic and home-visit responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide on-site outpatient consultations and diagnosis for adults and childrenhistory-taking, physical examination, and treatment planning.
- Conduct scheduled visiting shifts at the Koramangala clinic and perform organized home visits as assigned, ensuring punctuality and professional presentation.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, write clear discharge and referral notes, and initiate timely referrals to specialists when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic EMR or paper charts; ensure confidentiality and compliant documentation practices.
- Perform basic emergency triage, stabilisation, and arrange urgent transfers when necessary; follow infection-control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and caregiversexplain diagnoses, treatment plans, follow-up instructions, and preventive care guidance.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution with valid medical registration (State Medical Council/BMC registration).
- Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience in outpatient care, family medicine, or general practice (preferred for visiting roles).
- Proven ability to conduct home visits and on-site consultations with strong clinical judgement and bedside manner.
- Good command of English and local languages (Kannada/Hindi) for patient communication.
- Basic proficiency with EMR or clinical documentation; reliable record-keeping and prescription writing skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in urban clinics or community health programs in Bangalore or similar metro locations.
- Training or exposure to minor procedures, basic emergency care, and infection control protocols.
