Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MBBS Counselor for a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The MBBS Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through the process of selecting suitable medical universities abroad, coordinating application submissions, and assisting with visa processing. The role includes conducting personalized consultations, providing information on university admissions, eligibility criteria, and scholarships, as well as aiding students in preparing necessary documents. The counselor will also collaborate with financial advisors to provide guidance on bank loans and other financial needs for studying abroad.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills to effectively interact with students and their families.
- Proficiency in research and an in-depth understanding of international medical university admissions processes and requirements.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for document assessment, visa processing, and scholarship applications.
- Basic knowledge of financial assistance, including bank loans and international travel processes.
- Proficiency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in overseas education counseling or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
