Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an MBBS Abroad Counselor & Study Abroad Counselor located in the Pune Division. The role involves providing guidance and counseling to students aspiring to study abroad, particularly those interested in MBBS programs. Day-to-day tasks will include assisting students with university selection, admission applications, visa processing, and pre-departure preparations. Counselors will also maintain up-to-date knowledge about international education systems, foster relationships with universities and partners, and provide prompt and accurate answers to student queries. Building rapport with students and ensuring a smooth process from inquiry to admission is integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in counseling and student interaction to guide individuals in selecting educational opportunities best suited to their needs and aspirations
- Knowledge of MBBS and study abroad education systems, admission processes, and documentation requirements
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Organizational skills for maintaining and updating student records, managing deadlines, and ensuring accuracy
- Problem-solving skills to handle challenges and provide effective solutions to students
- Fluency in English and additional language skills (preferred but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in necessary software tools and basic computer skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field (preferred)
