The Maths Content Creator is responsible for designing educational content and narrative scripts for secondary education courses. The candidate should be capable of working independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:-
- Developing a Table of Contents based on existing reference textbooks that cover all the relevant topics for K12 Mathematics courses.
- Generating narrative scripts that are informative, comprehensive, and engaging for secondary education math classes.
- Assisting in creating voice-overs for multimedia content that accurately convey mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Reviewing and editing content to ensure accuracy and clarity in mathematical terms, notation, and concepts.
Requirements:-
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- A background in middle school teaching or educational math content creation is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with educational strategies for teaching mathematics to middle school learners, including student engagement, scaffolding of information, differentiation, and evidence-based math instructional practices.
- Strong proficiency in the US-English language, with exceptional written communication skills and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all written content, including precise use of mathematical terminology and notation.
- Self-motivated with an ability to meet tight deadlines and work on fast-paced projects.
