We are hiring a Maths & Numbers Analyst to sit inside Protein World's new Gurgaon headquarters.
About us
Protein World is a founder-led group operating across nutrition, pharma, and real estate. We think in centuries and act in weeks. We are not a corporate, and we are not trying to become one.
The work
Two threads, from day one.
- The HQ build in Udyog Vihar. Cost engineering end to end — vendors, BOQ, variance, material sourcing. You will know the names of the contractors and the prices of the stone.
- Protein World unit economics. SKU-level P&L, marketplace and D2C reconciliation, COGS modelling, pricing across nutrition and pharma. The kind of work where a single number, found in the right week, changes the trajectory of a product line.
Who we are looking for
- Someone who thinks in maths before they think in anything else. The kind of mind that sees a P&L and feels which line is lying. That builds the model in their head before opening the spreadsheet. That enjoyed maths at school and at university — and still does.
- Someone who notices things. The small mismatches most people walk past. The job is half technical and half perceptual, and the perceptual half is the one that compounds.
- Someone who does more with less. Bloat is the enemy of clarity, and clarity is what we are trying to build.
On paper
- Quantitative undergraduate degree — Maths, Statistics, Economics Hons, Engineering. ISI, CMI, IIT, NIT, BITS, top DU colleges, Ashoka.
- Class 12 Maths 90%+.
- 2–3 years in a role where the work was modelling, not reporting.
- Fluent in Excel and Sheets. We will teach you the finance stack if you bring the mathematical mind.
