Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Math Tutor to deliver engaging 1-on-1 online sessions for students in Grades 6–8 across CBSE, IB MYP, British (IGCSE/Cambridge Lower Secondary), or American curricula.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized online Math sessions for Grades 6–8 students
- Plan lessons aligned to student's curriculum, syllabus, and assessment style
- Build strong conceptual foundations in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data handling
- Track student progress and share regular updates with parents
- Adapt teaching pace and methods to individual learning styles
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience in an edtech or school setting
- Strong command of middle-school Math across multiple curricula (CBSE, British, American, IB)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Tech setup: laptop with camera/mic, pen tablet, and stable wifi
- Available for flexible online session slots (India & Middle East time zones)
Nice to Have
- Experience preparing students for competitive exams or Math olympiads
- Familiarity with Cambridge Checkpoint or MYP criterion-based assessment
