About the Role
We are looking for a Math Tutor K10 (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on school-level mathematics education, conceptual clarity, and student-friendly learning experiences.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to arithmetic, algebra, geometry, fractions, decimals, word problems, and foundational mathematical reasoning, helping improve how AI models explain and teach concepts to K10-level students.
You will collaborate with global AI and education teams to assess the accuracy, clarity, and age-appropriateness of AI-generated mathematical content. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for tutoring, educational support, and curriculum-based learning.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including lesson explanations, examples, worksheets, and practice questions aligned with K10 curriculum
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to school-level mathematics concepts and applications
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve mathematics-related problems to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI outputs for accuracy, conceptual clarity, logical consistency, and curriculum alignment
- Identify incorrect assumptions, calculation errors, incomplete explanations, or misleading content in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on mathematics education and student learning systems
Requirements
- Background in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Strong understanding of K10-level mathematics concepts and curriculum standards
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly in a student-friendly and engaging manner
- Experience in tutoring, teaching, or academic content creation for school students is preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
