Job Description

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead and coordinate daily materials planning and scheduling activities.
  • Ensure availability of materials to meet project timelines.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into material requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to balance cost and service levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to expedite or adjust purchase orders.
  • Track material shortages and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain material planning systems, reports, and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and inventory management.
  • Train and guide junior planners or coordinators as needed.

  • Material availability rate
  • Inventory turnover ratio
  • Stock-out frequency
  • On-time delivery performance
  • Forecast accuracy
