Role Definition
Schedules, plans and oversees material procurement, production and delivery processes. Is responsible for managing the supplier base and effectively manage supply of parts from vendors to ensure key deliverables are achieved in line with dealer requirements. They serve as the first point of contact for all supply related issues and facilitate issue resolution process to ensure parts are moved from the point of source to the point of distribution effectively on-time.

Role Definition

Responsibilities
- Participates in scheduling production and delivery processes in accordance with current productivity and cost efficiency standards.
- Develops and executes material planning for a product line to ensure that all material requirements for assigned programs are met within the allocated time frame.
- Organizes the flow of materials within the manufacturing unit and the transferring of materials to and from the inventory or warehouse.
- Generates forecasts and manages replenishment planning for parts and materials to ensure specified service levels are met.
- Expedite parts from suppliers in line with the business requirements to manage dealer first fill.
- Engage suppliers for the given profile, monitor their delivery performance regularly, initiate supplier improvement process if required.
- Responsible for resolving inbound grief with suppliers and other supply chain partners.
- Validate inventory level, manage transport, create, and publish schedules to the suppliers to meet dealer fill.
- Negotiate with suppliers and de-expedite parts to manage cost and avoid excess inventory.
- Work, Monitor and generate reports for the business using process tools / ERP- (SAP, S4, SPP, Syncron, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, SharePoint, MS Office etc).
- Validate supplier invoices against goods receipt and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Provide updates on critical parts to the dealer.
- Manage dealer orders and run analysis.
- All processes related documents are updated and maintained up to date.
- Able to work on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) on availability, back order/ past due reduction, ETA coverage and improve process performance.
- Must be target driven, take ownership, ability to work independently, in teams and with co-workers and other functions to achieve results.
- Should align to UK / Europe shift timings as per business requirement.
