In this vital role The Master Data Operations Manager will manage a team of Specialists and Analysts responsible for SAP master data management activities in the Material and Production Master domains. This role will lead the team in performing validation of master data requests, accurate entry into SAP, and collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve operational data issues and implement process improvements. The Master Data Operations Manager will also oversee team performance against key performance metrics, ensure compliance with data governance standards, and support data migration and integration initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day master data operations, including validation of data requests against business rules / procedures and accurate data entry in a timely manner
- Oversee data governance adherence, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including IT and business units, to improve data workflows
- Implement continuous improvements in master data processes to enhance data accuracy, quality, and operational efficiency
- Support data migration, integration projects, and system upgrades to ensure seamless data consistency across platforms
- Monitor key performance indicators related to master data quality and operational success to drive team performance
- Encourage and facilitate the talent development of direct reports

Basic Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors in a STEM discipline and 6 to 8 years of experience in enterprise applications like SAP, and Oracle, demonstrable experience in Master data management and data governance
- Industry experience preferably in healthcare or biotech supply chain
- Proficient in MS Office and utilization of visualization tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collaborate multi-functionally
- Experience in leading and managing successful teams

- Expertise in master data management processes and data governance
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and demonstrable experience in data implementation/integration projects
- Master data knowledge in domains that include Material and Production Master
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams and drive prioritization across different projects and day-to-day operations
- Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, GxP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on driving continuous improvement in data accuracy and quality
