NOTE: Experience with SAP ERP, particularly Material Master, Change Management, and BOM modules.

Job Description:

o Responsible for creating and maintaining SAP part numbers (material master records) and managing engineering change requests within the SAP system.

o The role ensures accurate data entry, coordination of change processes, and timely release of approved changes to support product lifecycle and operational efficiency.

• Key Responsibilities:

o Create and maintain SAP material master records / part numbers in accordance with company standards and naming conventions.

o Initiate, process, and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in SAP or the company's change management system.

o Review change requests for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation before processing.

o Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to gather required information for part creation and change implementation.

o Process and update Bill of Materials (BOM), part revisions, and related documentation as part of the change process.

o Ensure proper approval workflows are followed and release approved change requests in SAP.

o Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company data governance and configuration management policies.

o Support audits by maintaining traceability of part numbers and engineering changes.

o Provide support and guidance to internal teams regarding SAP part number creation and change request procedures.

• Required Skills & Qualifications:

o Experience with SAP ERP, particularly Material Master, Change Management, and BOM modules. o Understanding of Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes.

o Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

o Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.

o Good documentation and organizational skills.

o Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
