Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Master Chef specializing in South Indian cuisine, located in Bengaluru at Radisson Blu Outer Ring Road. The Master Chef will be responsible for curating, preparing, and presenting authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. They will oversee kitchen operations, manage inventory and food purchasing, ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards, and train kitchen staff in South Indian culinary techniques to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in authentic South Indian cuisine, with mastery of traditional cooking techniques and ingredient usage
  • Proven skills in menu creation, food presentation, and maintaining consistency in high-quality dishes
  • Experience in managing kitchen operations, buying ingredients, and inventory management
  • Proficiency in training and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure skill development and team efficiency
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
  • Previous experience in luxury hotels or fine dining establishments specializing in South Indian cuisine is an advantage
