Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and growth-focused Marketplace & Quick Commerce Head to lead, manage, and expand our presence across ecommerce and q-commerce platforms. This is a critical leadership position designed for someone who understands marketplace business deeply, is data-driven, and thrives in fast-paced consumer brand environments.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Strategy & Ownership:
Own and drive revenue and P&L for all leading ecommerce marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc.), with a strong emphasis on Amazon.
Marketplace Excellence:
Plan and execute end-to-end account management including promotions, A+ content, ads, pricing, listings, keyword optimization, and inventory forecasting.
Quick Commerce Growth:
Create and implement strategies to scale business on quick commerce platforms (Zepto, Blinkit, etc.), ensuring fast GTM, correct product selection, and strong fill-rate control.
Marketing & Visibility:
Work with internal and platform teams to drive influencer collaborations, brand store improvements, performance marketing, and promotional visibility.
Data & Market Insights:
Conduct detailed market research, competitor mapping, pricing intelligence, and identify whitespace opportunities for new launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with design, supply chain, CX, and content teams to ensure smooth execution and superior customer experience.
Team Leadership:
Guide and mentor a team of 23 members, driving ownership, productivity, and continuous learning.
Process & Compliance:
Ensure healthy platform hygiene, operational compliance, and strong ratings/reviews through proactive action.
Key Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years leading ecommerce marketplace operations.
Proven success in scaling Amazon business.
Industry Background:
Experience in personal care, health & wellness, or consumer electronics is required.
Experience in fashion, apparel, and jewellery categories will not be considered.
Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Hands-on experience with Seller Central, Vendor Central, Seller Hub, and marketplace ad dashboards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
High ownership, bias for action, and ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.
Mindset:
Self-starter, accountable, growth-driven, and extremely organized.
