Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Marketplace to own and scale our business across international markets and Quick Commerce in India. This is not a coordination role. You will set the strategy, drive execution, and be directly accountable for revenue and growth across every marketplace channel we operate in. You will lead our expansion across Amazon UAE, KSA, and Noon in the GCC, while simultaneously growing our Quick Commerce presence on Blinkit and Instamart in India. You will build the systems, relationships, and playbooks that allow Knya to win across multiple markets at once.
The right person for this role has done this before at scale. You know how marketplaces work from the inside, you have driven cross-border growth, and you bring the analytical rigour and speed needed to operate in a high-growth D2C environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the P&L; Take full ownership of marketplace revenue across GCC and India Quick Commerce channels.
Set targets, track performance, and close the gap when numbers are off.
• Lead GCC Expansion Build and scale our marketplace business on Amazon UAE, Amazon KSA, and Noon.
Identify and activate new GCC marketplaces as part of our international growth roadmap.
• Drive Quick Commerce in India Own the Blinkit and Instamart business end to end. Drive visibility,
availability, and conversion across both platforms.
• Marketplace Strategy Define the go-to-market approach for each channel including pricing, promotions,
advertising, and catalogue strategy. Think at the level of the business, not just the platform.
• Catalogue and Operations Ensure best-in-class listings across all marketplaces. Work with internal teams
across inventory, operations, and brand to guarantee stock availability, accurate listings, and timely uploads.
• Performance Analytics Own the data. Analyse sales, conversion, TACOS, ROAS, returns, ratings, and
customer feedback. Translate insights into action, fast.
• Marketplace Relationships Build and maintain strong relationships with category and account managers
across all platforms. Use these relationships to unlock growth opportunities before the competition does.
• Team and Process Building Build the internal processes, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that allow
the marketplace function to scale without losing speed or accuracy.
Must Haves
• 5 to 8 years of experience managing large-scale marketplace accounts, with Amazon as a core part of your
background.
• Demonstrated experience with cross-border marketplace expansion, specifically Amazon UAE, KSA, or Noon
in the GCC.
• Proven track record of owning revenue targets and consistently hitting them.
• Deep understanding of marketplace advertising including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and
TACOS management.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel, data dashboards, and building your own performance reports.
• Experience managing Quick Commerce platforms such as Blinkit or Instamart.
• Ability to work across functions including inventory, operations, finance, and brand without losing momentum.
• Prior experience in a fast-growing D2C or e-commerce brand at a growth or scale stage.
Good to Have
• Experience launching a brand in a new international market from scratch.
• Familiarity with cross-border logistics, customs, and fulfilment operations in the GCC.
• Experience building and managing a small marketplace or operations team.
• Exposure to broader e-commerce growth levers beyond marketplace including D2C website and B2B.
